As a re-accredited UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting school, at Wingate Primary School we aim to provide a happy, friendly and caring atmosphere in which children feel secure and valued.
We place a great emphasis on promoting the Rights of the Child and encourage children to respect the rights of others. Our school has a happy and friendly atmosphere in which honesty, courtesy and consideration for others can flourish along with a high priority on ensuring that all children receive an education suited to their individual needs.

Photos from Wingate Primary School's post What a proud moment for some of our Preschoolers, completing all of our ‘Ginger Bear’ social speaking activities. The children have shown wonderful progress in speaking clearly, listening respectfully and communicating with confidence. We celebrated the occasion suitably with a special teddy bear’s tea party!

Photos from Wingate Primary School's post On Tuesday our children really enjoyed joining in with the Shrove Tuesday celebration of making and eating pancakes. We even had time for a quick pancake race at the end of the day. As always they were very sensible and enjoyed the tasting most of all!
